Collection Development

One way to draw patrons into your library is to offer culturally relevant materials. The resources below offer options for multi-lingual materials.

OCLC Language Sets
OCLC Language Sets make it easier to serve culturally diverse communities by offering packages of popular materials in 13 languages. Orders include a balance of classics, best sellers, and highly anticipated new releases that appeal to public library users. The books arrive cataloged in full MARC format with LC subject headings and Dewey or LC call numbers. Prices for sets, which contain 3 to 50 books or videos, range from $300.00-$1,600.

Pre-selected materials are available in the following languages:
